Patch v1.0.0.142

Twin Disciplines

(Innate): Discipline of Force — Upon obtaining 19.5 ability power, Akali's auto attacks deal 7.916% bonus magic damage, increasing by 1% for every 6 ability power gained thereafter. (Magic damage affects all structures.)

Discipline of Might — Upon obtaining 9.5 bonus attack damage, Akali gains 7.916% spell vamp, increasing by an additional 1% for every 6 attack damage gained thereafter.

Twin Disciplines consists of two separate passive effects. Once Akali has 19.5 or more ability power from runes, masteries, and/or items, her basic attacks will deal bonus magic damage equal to a percentage of her total attack damage, this percentage increasing with her ability power. In addition, once Akali has 9.5 or more attack damage from runes, masteries, and/or items, she gains spell vamp, increasing with her bonus attack damage. The two parts of this ability are independent of each other.

Discipline of Force formula: While Akali has at least 19.5 ability power, she deals bonus magic damage with her basic attacks equal to (AP / 6 + 14 / 3) percent of her attack damage. This would equal 100% bonus magic damage at 572 AP.

Discipline of Might formula: While Akali has at least 9.5 bonus attack damage, she gains spell vamp equal to (Bonus AD / 6 + 19 / 3) percent.

Discipline of Might will proc Spell Vamp from other sources as well, such as Smite, or using the actives on Deathfire Grasp, Bilgewater Cutlass, and Hextech Gunblade.

Twin Disciplines takes into account any temporary buffs when calculating the bonuses it grants. Of course, the resulting increase of the bonus is temporary too.

Discipline of Force's bonus magic damage:

Affects all structures.[1]

Does not break spell shields.

Does not proc any slow from Rylai's Crystal Scepter.

Does not trigger healing from spell vamp.

Does not scale with critical damage, it's solely based on total AP.
